Friendly`s in Shirley

No surprises here. Grand kids love icecream and burgers. Small sign, so slow down or you will miss it.

If you're only going for ice cream you'll be somewhat satisfied. The selection of flavors they have is impressive but for some reason the intensity of each flavor is underwhelming. My chocolate ice cream tasted less chocolatey than a Wendy's frosty. The cotton candy icecream my gf had should've been bursting with sugary fruity flavor but not at all, the cotton candy flavor was so mild. To make it worse their shakes are unnecessarily expensive. A medium shake is close to 6 dollars when a small shake from baskin robbins is slightly less money, and the same size too. The food doesn't even redeem the place unfortunately. Their chicken, onion rings, burgers and so on are all so flavorless, their food essentially just fills a space in your stomach, there's no flavor at all. Don't go here if u can help it. It's a waste of money for the quality of food that u get.

Their food is very enjoyable. Their ice cream is amazing as well. The staff is very friendly and I would definitely recommend it.

Ordered from here tonight the mushroom mania burger.. 3 little mushrooms, burger was raw. Asked for pickles and tomatoes didnt get pickles and only one tiny sliver of tomato. Fries were soggy and cold. Do not recomend.

My entire family got food poisoning from this establishment on 10/21/19. The food was absolutely disgusting we only took 2 bites. They took one of the burgers off the bill, because it was not cooked & soggy. Do not eat here!!!!

Took a long while before we were acknowledged by staff and host to be seated. Service was slow but I can understand one guy did the best he could under these circumstances. He was friendly and the food was pretty good. A good place for comfort food or some kind of sandwich.

One of the better Friendly's around. Prompt service, nice waitress. We were there late for ice cream, so that probably explains the quick service. Would have rated it 5 stars if our Happy Ending sundaes we're a little bigger, they were pretty small, much smaller than usual. Out of the 3 that were ordered, 1 was the normal size, 2 we're very small.

I ate this food and got very sick. I recommend you to stay away. Board of health should definitely come check out this place. I got food poisoning for 2 days, very sick. And I will never come here again I am highly disgusted. This place should be closed down asap. Do yourself a favor keep your money.

The food is decent but the staff are the exact opposite of "Friendly". Would not recommend this place to friends or family.

Horrible service, waited forever for EVERYTHING! Staff was not pleasant had so much attitude, had to get up and go to the front to get a coloring mat for my toddler

Every time we come it's absolutely freezing in the building. Repeated requests from numerous people make no difference. They're selling ice cream... It should be comfortable, if not warm in building. I was told the workers are hot... So the paying tipping customers should freeze? Tonight, we've been here 40 minutes and still have no food. Kids are cold, hungry and tired. One waiter seems to be trying to remain upbeat and work his butt off. He's communicating with his customers and making the best of the long wait times. We haven't seen our waiter for 20 minutes. No sign of a manager. I would expect the manager to be on the floor during dinner trying to gauge customer vibe. Half the booths are empty. Lots of people waiting. Worker waiter is trying to clean up when he can. Can't wait to see what our meal is like....

Family oriented with friendly service. You're not getting gourmet, but it's a great place to get dinner and ice cream, usually in a nicely priced deal.

Free parking, well lit, clean restrooms, kid friendly menu, cheap eats for parents too, friendly staff, very busy on weekends, toy vending machine, delivery, nice breakfast options, very convenient location right on Montauk Hwy., kids eat for $1.99 from the kids menu with paying adult Monday thru Wednesday from 4PM to 10 PM, half price appetizers at 10 PM until closing, create your own meal for about $11, lunch for $5.55, two entrees and one appetizer for $20, and more!!!

upon receiving my food i had ordered via pickup, i noticed there was no mashed potatoes in my order which i had placed. no big deal, just wanted to call them back and let them know they forgot something and to just shave it off the bill. WASNT SO EASY! i called 3 times and guess what?? NO ANSWER!!! this is especially annoying to know that there were a total of two customers in the whole god damn restaurant! how do i know this????? because i went in to pickup my order with my ever so breathtaking soon to be wedded wife and we GINGERLY OBSERVED the restaurant. (food was luke warm as well)

we ordered some ice cream on the internet and we. we got home the amount of ice cream and the money we paid was VERY DISAPPOINTING. We paid 22 dollars for 3 sundaes and the cups were not even filled up. what a waste of money. Will never go here again for ice cream. We were trying to support local businesses during this pandemic going on. I wouldn't recommend take out for anyone to spend the money for the amount of ice cream you get.

Shirley freindly's is awesome. Great service and manager always makes us feel welcome. Cleanest restaurant on the island. I highly recommend it, and intend to be a regular every week

Honestly I hold a special place in my heart for Friendly's as I frequented it as a kid. This Friendly's didn't disappoint especially in part of the service provided by Shaun. He definitely isn't your average waiter you'd expect from a diner and made the experience great even amongst a lot of special requests due to diet restrictions. Love Friendly's for their comfort food, nostalgia, and kind service. They've yet to let me down.
